Meet your instructors
We are Singapore’s first and only certified Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain instructors since 2012
Our Story
We began by asking a simple question: Why do some people draw effortlessly while others struggle? In researching how our brains process what we see, we discovered something profound: more than just learning how to draw, people can uncover new ways of seeing themselves and the world.
Guided by curiosity and grounded in cognitive psychology and the visual arts, we initially worked with corporate teams to reframe perception and break free from self-limiting beliefs, enhancing personal leadership and collective synergy. Time and again, participants shared their amazement at seeing familiar things in entirely new ways.
Today, we’re bringing this transformative experience to individuals. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to demystify drawing as talent and reveal it as a skill that expands awareness and sharpens observation. Because when you learn to draw, you learn to see — and that’s where real growth begins.
Nicola Choo
Nicola draws on her training in educational psychology and leadership communication to help corporate teams and individuals harness the power of drawing as a transformative tool. Her clients have described her as polished and insightful, with the ability to make complex concepts accessible and relevant. Apart from her work in leadership consulting, Nicola teaches life drawing, pedagogy, and artistic development at the university. She is also a teaching artist with the National Gallery Singapore, where she has trained museum-based learning facilitators and co-developed the Strength Through Art (stART) program – enhancing emotional wellness and resilience through the visual arts.
Tricia Goh
Recognising the potential in Dr. Betty Edwards’ widely acclaimed approach, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, Tricia brought in the program in 2012 to spark shifts in how people see, think, and learn. She works closely with clients to design training solutions that transform drawing into a powerful tool for gaining new perspectives. Described by her students as engaging and approachable, Tricia teaches drawing, concepts and practices in art education at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.

“We now look around us with different eyes and it’s amazing to think all this happened in 5 short days.”
“My husband, Hunter, and I went for the 5 day intensive Drawing Right workshop at the end of September. We had no idea what to expect, and to be frank, I was terrified of putting pencil to paper and drawing anything save perhaps stick figures. The course structure was well planned and content both informative and intuitive. Each day’s subject subconsciously teaches you a multitude of lessons, not only in drawing but also in seeing and perception. We now look around us with different eyes and it’s amazing to think all this happened in 5 short days. Thank you to Nicola and Tricia for this wonderful course and your encouragement. Your experience and patience as teachers have truly opened our minds.”
